Sweet Science Coffee was created by German native Sandra Wolter. Having grown up in a family coffee business, she trained at the Berlin landmark Café Möhring after highschool.

For 6 years, Sandra worked at her parents' Konditorei (patisserie/cafe).  While the men would roast the coffee beans, Sandra learned everything there was to know about Coffee from her mother, grandmother, and aunt. This was time spent together that Sandra now playfully calls HCOC (Human Contact Over Coffee).

Being "too wired" to stand still she made a cut at 26 and went back to school to pursue her other loves, journalism and filmmaking. Sandra spent 13 years and a successful career as a journalist and TV reporter. However, after starting to teach and lecture about specialty coffee in recent years, Wolter decided that it was time for yet another life change. In early 2014, she quit her job in German TV and set out to find a home for her own version of creative, handcrafted coffee, and coffee education. Sandra is a certified Barista with the SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe).
